Chris Brown's Manager Says Singer Will Not Do Media Interviews In 2012

Chris Brown

Chris Brown fans will have to rely on his Twitter feed and music for any connection with the singer in 2012, because he won't be making any appearances in the media.

Breezy's manager Tina Davis said he won't be doing any interviews this year and will be focusing on his recording and performing instead, NecoleBitchie.com reports.

"We're not trying to be rude, selfish or disrespectful in any way," Davis said. "If people are going to judge anything, judge him for his talent."

After his relationship with ex-girlfriend Rihanna ended with a public assault trial in 2009, and a "Good Morning America" interview that resulted in a number of smashed windows, the R&B star had a tough time overcoming his reputation as a hothead with a short fuse.

Since then, Brown has made a comeback in the industry and will be attending this year's Grammy Awards after being suspended for the last three years, RadarOnline.com reports.

"Chris absolutely plans on attending the Grammy's and is in talks with producers of the show to possibly perform," an unnamed source told the website. "Chris performed at the MTV Video Music Awards several months ago, and his performance was simply over the top as he was flying through the air like an acrobat. Chris' performance stole the show, and he would love to do something at the Grammy's to top his VMA performance."

Although Team Breezy may not have any juicy interviews to look forward to, they'll have no problem accessing the star on Twitter. On Dec. 31, Brown tweeted to his fans and seemed to have a positive outlook for the new year.

Good.

He's dumb as a sack of hammers.

His music is atrocious, so he should be completely out of the picture in 2013...until he beat another girl up, that is.

LOL hateful ppl are just sick and sad. They always have to take to the internet to spew hatred and evil about someone. You don't have to like any one artist but man, to waste your time and energy being negative and hateful toward someone you don't know, just makes you look sad and pathetic. Anyway, Happy New...LOL!

His ego won't let him keep this promise, although one wishes he could keep his mouth shut. This legend in his own mind will be doing an interview by the end of January.

Tell that to the police who beat on women everyday and no one says nothing these guys beat up women and its all good you dont even hear women complain its ok to get beat by a police but a regular guy or a star gets the hate!!!!!!! women wake up!!!!!!!!!!! you cannot do and say anything to someone with out a consequence and you are not protected by police you get beat worse and cannot do anything back

This will be good for Chris....,

Get back to his beat, Run it.

Love that song.

His behavior SINCE the beating says it all. A cry-baby interview followed by a trashed dressing room. Posting his "lil chris" all over the internet doesn't say much for his character either. MESS!

I do't agree with the physicalabuse but I do agre that Rhianna is not not an angel and I'm sure she did something to push him to that breaking point, and yes there are people out there who will nit pick and push all the right buttons for you to explode in anger and rage then next thing you know you done put hands on them. Ladies yall know what I'm talking about busting the windows out of your man's car cause he ignitied that flame

Cute but dangerous!!!

no more dangerous than the police who beat up women everyday.

Good. It's stunning to hear young black women say they don't believe he did "anything wrong" for beating up on Rhianna. So he apologized? This man is violence waiting to happen and a bad role model for young people - black and otherwise.
08:35 AM on 01/05/2012
I disagree. This young man has shown remarkable courage by admitting he was wrong and has done his absolute best to change his ways. It's people like you that never give a person a second chance. I bet if we looked in your life: past or present we would find a whole lot of things worse than what Chris Brown did. Right?
12:41 PM on 01/05/2012
Second chance for what? There are a lot of people who manage to get through their entire lives without beating someone viciously. Domestic violence isn't a "mistake", it speaks to someones personality and character. For a lot of people, its a personality and character trait they have no respect for. People have every right not to like who he is a person and therefore not support his music.
07:02 PM on 01/07/2012
I admit I don't follow Brown or his music. My awareness of him is from the plentiful media coverage he received from his violent beating of Rhianna. What I see and read in the trades is that he has deep problems - not sure if they're psychological, drug-related or what.In his defense I don't see Rhianna as a strong role model for women. She's moderately talented and looks pretty hot - but in a cheap, cheesy way.She looks like she would be a great porn star if her singing career tanks.

who says he didn't do anything wrong? I think people are hoping that he was young and learned from his mistakes. We all have mistakes to learn from.
02:49 PM on 01/08/2012
Hope he does learn - that's what life is about. Only time will tell if he has the talent and self-control to go the distance in his career. If he has people around him who care about him as a person, he may do okay.
05:57 PM on 01/04/2012
he needs to breathe and be able to show his talent we should not judge him on his past he is a great performer and I love that kid! Rhianna has moved on why cant we....

...yeah i know about that, but Chris Brown has restraining order to staw away from rihanna...not the Grammy's. If CB can't go to the show becuz Rihanna is there--thats one thing, but I think CB should not have been suspended by Grammy's
06:48 PM on 01/06/2012
I never heard that he was suspended from the Grammy's. I don't believe that's true. He just elected not to go last year. Besides they didn't Ban Eminem and he had many years of DV with his wife Kim. So have quite a few others. As you read above, he will more than likely be performing & I'm glad. I can't take much more of the same ppl performing on every show i.e.Gaga, Bieber, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry, Rihanna etc.. Bring back great live entertainment and he definitely fits the bill. IMO

no it is true. They didn't ban him because he committed a crime. They banned him because he had to stay away from Rihanna. Half the people at the grammys have committed a crime.
