Denisa Dvorakova's Photoshopped 'Barbie Arms' On Elle Czech January 2012 Cover (PHOTO)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 01/03/2012 9:14 am Updated: 01/03/2012 9:14 am

One of our biggest pet peeves is when an airbrusher unnecessarily retouches an already-gorgeous woman.

We were thrilled to see stunning model Denisa Dvorakova suits up in a sparkly Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit for the January issue of Elle Czech.

But while we're loving the bodysuit (and floral hat!), the Photoshop job done on Dvorakova is making our head hurt. Her glazed-over eyes and shellacked-looking face give her the visage of a plastic doll.

And what's even worse: those arms! The fake sheen on her right arm and the perfectly cut right angle scream "Barbie," and her left arm looks like it's bending the wrong way, tapering into a too-small hand. And wait... where's her left thumb?

Pass the Advil.

Check out the cover below. Do you think it's been overenthusiastically Photoshopped, too?

?Save airbrushing for when necessary for a currently-ugly woman!

The real question should be "Why is she wearing a bathing suit made of sheet metal and sugar flowers?"

Another Photoshop oops. It's getting beyond ridiculous now...

The funny thing about this, is no one on here has ever seen this young woman in person. No one leaving comments knows what she looks like in person and yet everyone feels completely comfortable ripping apart an image of her.

Seems that people are ripping apart the photoshop work done on her image and not ripping her apart. To me, those arms looks as is someone photoshopped the arms of a plastic barbie doll onto the model's body. They look amazingly plastic, smooth and lack all muscle definition.

What up with this "Barbie" image people are trying to work up to!....Barbie is old and need to go away.....
Barbie is a unrealistic view of women...some old geezer view of what a women should look like....why would someone want to look like an outdated doll...that's stupid..!

Bratz doll was more realistic...but it was seriously competing with "Barbie" so they got rid of it!

it is also unrealistic everyone trying to look like "Marilyn Monroe"...

Marilyn did even like her look herself....there is only ONE Marilyn...try to invent your own style...

Stop being a copycat...stop trying to look like Geezer-made dolls

Barbie was created by a woman , not an old geezer ..

You seriously think Bratz dolls are (they're still sold) better than Barbies? At least with Barbie you can buy outfits that don't make her look like she's gonna go stand on a street corner. Barbie has had every profession imaginable, showing girls you can be anything you want to be. Sure the physical ideals are off but so too with Bratz and all too many dolls out there.

I know .. looks strange ... maybe she belonged to one of those tribes that wears rings around their necks to make them grow that way .. either way the folks responsible for the cover , should have done a better job at approving it ..

Her arms look abnormal...they look like two little needles. This is not an image that should be put out there for young girls and women to see and emulate.

Remember when a good photographer was responsible for the quality of the picture. Now anyone can just shoot the picture and then give it to the graphic artist to create a...nightmare.
