Maria Shriver, Arnold Schwarzenegger Reconciling: Do You Think They Should?

Should Arnold Schwarzenegger And Maria Shriver Reconcile?

Recent reports detailing Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver's possible reconciliation got us thinking: should the former power couple call off their divorce?

From a financial perspective, it makes sense. The pair -- whose combined net worth is estimated at $500 million -- have no prenup, and because California is a community property state, they may be required to divide their assets 50-50 in the split. Shriver may also be eligible for spousal and child support.

Calling off the split would also enable the couple to keep details of their financial life sealed (divorce docs are public record in California).

From a family perspective, it may also make sense. Shriver and Schwarzenegger have four children together -- two under the age of 18.

Shriver reportedly has religious reasons for calling off the split (she's Catholic) -- yet another incentive.

But does all this matter? Let's not forget that Schwarzenegger fathered a child with former household staffer Mildred Baena, which he kept hidden from Shriver for over a decade.

So what do you think: Should Schwarzenegger and Shriver reconcile? Sound off in the comments.
