We don't know if this classifies as life imitating art, but the early morning news report on local NBC affiliate WGBA devolved into a scene straight out of "Anchorman" today -- and thankfully the footage has made it onto YouTube.
Meteorologist Brian Niznansky fell victim to a pretty ingenious newsroom prank after the show's director slipped the line, "I love lamp" into his teleprompter notes. Apparently, Niznansky's dedication to reading whatever appears on the prompter rivals Will Ferrell's character Ron Burgundy in the movie (although the classic line belongs to Steve Carell).
