The boys of "Jersey Shore" stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (Weeknights, 12 a.m. EST on ABC) to talk about the show's upcoming season, which features the gang's return to New Jersey after a season abroad. The breakneck schedule and constant filming pushed Vinny Guadagnino to temporarily quit the show.
"It got real for me for a little bit and I had to take care of myself," he said. "But you'll see. A good thing ends up coming out of it."
The cast admitted that they missed him when he was gone, but it looks like his departure was only temporary. As for Pauly D, he'll be doing double-time as he talked about how excited he was for his upcoming spin-off show focusing on his career as a DJ touring the country.
When pressed if spin-offs were something the rest of the guys were interested in, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino said, "Everybody's got their own things going on. I don't know if we're allowed to discuss everything." It sounds like there are other projects in the works, perhaps awaiting the ratings returns on Pauly D's solo adventure.
The new season of "Jersey Shore" kicks off Thursday, January 5 at 10 p.m. EST On MTV. "Jimmy Kimmel Live" airs weeknights at 12 a.m. EST on ABC.
