'The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson': Carrie Fisher Upset About Her Fictional Face Lift (VIDEO)
Carrie Fisher is mad about Internet rumors she's had plastic surgery, and she let it all out on "The Late Late Show" (Weeknights, 12:30 a.m. EST on CBS). Apparently, there are "doctors" on the web who claim she's had a face lift, she told Craig Ferguson.
To make matters more insulting, their assessment of the work she supposedly had done was less than complimentary. "It's not that good," she said. Then, "I'm p****d off, too, 'cause it isn't that good! Why didn't he do my neck if he was gonna do everything else?"
Fisher got to thinking that since people already think she's had work done, maybe she should get some more. "I'm gonna have the [breast] reduction and then have that put in here," she joked, pointing to her cheeks. After all, once you go down the road of plastic surgery, why ever stop?
It must be irritating to have to defend against unsubstantiated online rumors like this when in the public eye. Plus, no matter what Fisher says, people are going to believe the rumor if they want to.
