The Kardashians Are Getting Their Own Magazine: REPORT

The Kardashians are plotting total world domination.

Well, maybe not, world domination, but there's talk the Kardashians are about to expand their brand once again.

Page Six reports the reality TV family are close to landing a deal with American Media Inc., -- parent company to Star, The National Enquirer, Shape and Playboy -- to launch a magazine about the family.

According to Page Six's source, the magazine is the Kardashians' idea and they've been reaching out to several media outlets, with plans to be "heavily involved" with the editorial process.

Sources say the magazine could launch as soon as this spring and it has some in the industry wondering if this is a move to combat the bad publicity the family has received over allegations of using child labor to manufacture their products, and of course Kim's short-lived marriage. The paper quotes an anonymous competitor as saying, "Now the Kardashians can spin their own stories in print."

Less pessimistic insiders says the magazine will be more of a fanzine devoted to the family, similar to the blogs the family members maintain through BuzzMedia Inc., that are a platform for Kardashian events, merchandise, plugs for sponsors and trips down Kardashian memory lane.

Where is Ashton Kutcher??? I think we are being Punk'd. There is no way this is true. The public has made it clear they are sick of the Kardashian's! They force themselves on the public eye. I used to follow them & enjoy the entertainment of KUWTK but now I just see them as selfish pigs in the media as the fame has showed their true colors. Get over yourself. There are plenty of AMERICAN families out there that could be better rolemodels and by far more better looking. This magazine would be a waste of trees too!!!! They are irrelevant to society and have nothing to offer. Waste of time and money for all parties involved for a Classless family who got fame because of a highly public MURDER trial. Who would want to be linked to that? Gross.

True, true, and true. But, they are also money makers for the tabs and they have enough money to start one of their own. It is biting the hand that feeds them, but no surprise there. They have closeprofitable relationships with TMZ, E!, and Huffington Post, among others, so the public receives very one-sided entertainment media about them. Consider this, we were heavily subjected to entertainment news about their Kardashian Kollection with Sears (and we complained that that was not entertainment news), but how did that work out? Not too well for Sears, but you have to read that in the WSJ, because not one peep of the dismal sales is reported in the entertainment news. They are failing, but that is not being reported.

Enough. i guess a nice title for the rag mag would be kims tells all, Kris reveals all, Khloe reveals all, Kourtney reveals all;;and now the truth. Who in their right mind would pay for a mag about the despicable life of Kim Kardasian and now the little sisters taking over the propaganda. Other countries must really laugh at us for putting these low class people on a pedestal and paying them big bucks for it. STOP THE INSANITY. Get a real job K family.
