When you think of an introduction sequence from the '80s, a few things probably come to mind: a cheesy, saxophone-infused theme-song, italicized fonts, and an odd little wave or smile from each of the primary characters.

But if you think about shows like "Family Matters" or "Full House," another key component to those intros is the cities that they take place in. The Tanners were all about the Golden Gate Bridge and quirky, pastel houses in that opening sequence.

So in honor of the tradition of sitcoms really driving home landmarks, Funny Or Die and The Birthday Boys have put together this special intro for a show of their own: "Buildings."

There were some 70s shots in there (Good Times, etc.)

Actually, I think show intros were twice as long in the 1980s and early 1990s. Ever see the original Law & Order theme?

All 80's sitcoms had the obligatory warbling saxophone theme music. I can get the same effect on my in-car stereo with an old cassette tape.

Agreed. This proves that just because something is spot-on doesn't mean it's automatically funny.
