Clippers Alley-Oops: Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan Dominate Rockets (VIDEO)

LOB CITY! Clippers Rout Rockets With Flurry Of Alley-Oops

Despite having played in the same building against the Lakers just a night earlier, the Houston Rockets could have been forgiven last night for losing track of what city they were in. After all, the Clippers certainly made Los Angeles seem "Lob City" in Wednesday night's blowout win over the Rockets. With a flurry of alley-oops very similar to their highlight reel preseason game against their housemates, the Lakers, Chris Paul, Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan put on a show for their fans as they dominated Houston.

But the player who got it started on Wednesday wasn't CP3. It was backup point guard Mo Williams. Midway through the second quarter, LeBron's former wingman had the ball at the top of the key as Griffin was posting up Samuel Dalembert. The dunking phenom made a spin move toward the basket and Williams delivered a picture-perfect alley-oop pass. Griffin caught it with two hands and emphatically threw it down to extend Los Angeles' lead to double digits.

In the third quarter, the newly-acquired Paul started to shred the Rockets' defense, on the fastbreak as well as in half court sets. In a span of under a minute, Paul assisted on two incredible alley-oops as the Clippers began pulling away. First, Paul attacked the basket from the left side and split the defense with a gorgeous pick-and-roll with Jordan. As the Clippers' big man went to the hoop, Paul had already set him up with a beautiful alley-oop pass and Jordan slammed it in with one hand.

Under a minute later, coming off a Houston miss, Paul pushed the tempo and found Griffin ahead of the pack for a ridiculous alley-oop from half court. Paul would go on to record a double-double with 20 points and 10 assists, while Griffin almost joined him with 22 points and nine rebounds.
