Freddie Mac: Newt Gingrich Can Make His Contracts With Us Public

Republican presidential candidate Newt Gingrich is free to release his contracts as an adviser to Freddie Mac (FMCC), the mortgage finance company says.

Gingrich told Bloomberg News in a Dec. 30 interview that he couldn't make the documents public because Freddie Mac wouldn't waive a confidentiality agreement. Gingrich's consulting firm was paid at least $1.6 million over eight years for his services.
