Scott Walker Recall: Election Could Cost $17 Million

Walker Recall Cost

Mount Pleasant Patch:

Whether or not we have a primary if there is a recall election for Governor Scott Walker could have a significant impact on the cost. Statewide, estimates are just over $9 million without a primary and $17 million with a primary.

"The costs are significant," said Rep. Robin Vos (R-Rochester). "We asked for these figures, hoping that if people knew the cost, they would think twice."

That is the same thing as saying... we don't have the money to fight crime so we will just make crime legal ..... It does not work that way.

If Wisconsin US attorney was a honest honorable person not a Protection Rackeet for his fellow republicans. Walker would be in a federal penn. A federal judge in Milwaukee in 1/2001 ordered Milwaukee county to rehired all the people Walker fired. The judge stated Walker mislead the county board on everything. The judge basicily stated Walker commit a few dozens of crimes and without any doubt abused his power. The judge stated Walker created a FALSE emergency. The judge detailed Walkers crimes. This has cost the state how many millions? Why is US attorney John Vaudruel protecting Walker and allowing him to continue his reign of terror on the seniors, poor, and or futre our children. Is Vaudruels agenda protecting his GOP pals more important than our children? John stop your protection rackeet.

thanks Jerry there is more much more as you probably know, all the way back to 2008. Dem. Campaign vans were set on fire in Milwaukee, and voters Dems. were unable to vote cause people had already voted in their names. How does that happen? well someone had access to registration info; Political backgrounds.. I remember hearing this on Milwaukee radio Station' These were Obama Campaign Vans. Then Pierick/Russell in sex text to Juvenile, said they would be "Moving to Madison end of December 2010." 1 month after Walker was elected."

Walker went and hired a bunch of lowlife Yes men too.. close friends> Pierick & Russell, omg.. I feel strongly that every step of the way, the more I read at legal Gov,sites on one action after another.. he has slipped through the Laws over & over. He has cost us so much money. for many years.' The RECALL will happen. The Gov't Accountability Board Judge will not let him drag this out The signatures are huge & legit' He will be RECALLED. Then Election. Then bring in Special Op's to monitor Waukesha County, and a few others.. for an end to steeling Votes from his opponents.

If I were a Wisconsin resident, I wouldn't care if it cost double that amount. Walker and his ilk have got to go.

yes. but if he knows he will be indicted, he needs to use the Power of his Office to get as much$$ for attys. etc. Investigators I believe, are crossing their T's and have 1 shot to get everything right..' I guarantee you those 2 knuckleheads Pierick/Russell are doing whatever they can to help. But if D.A. is a secret walker Cronie" and refuses to look into evidence, testimony.. They, the 2, knuckleheads, can call a Press Conferance, or wait to trial or give a Plea Bargain, and give info: to a higher State Atty. not enmeshed with Walker." go to> http://www.wispolitics.com/1006/large/120105_state_vspierick.pdf ( add ti favorites to keep apprised better, as opposed to relying on Walker Media spin. The link is broken, can you please re-post it?

I have been following the WI story from the beginning ... it is better than a soap opera! My husband wanted to know why I was so interested in WI before it all blew up and I told it was going to be the start of something BIG! If only I had the same insight on lottery numbers lol

It is plain to see how the Democratic operatives feel about this, but what of those here that are not members of the pro-government unions that have been sapping the wealth from the common man. We thought our voice was finally being heard with the election of Governor Walker. The outright lies and obfuscations of Mr. Zielinski and the economic pressure forced upon us by the elite union bosses should not stand and will not stand. After this farcical recall election is over and the Governor is kept in office by the people, do any of us really believe that the Democratic Socialists and Public Union bosses will stop their attacks on our chosen government and the officials we elected?

Question: Is all the indignation over restriction of ALL unions' rights, or just the PUBLIC unions?

I'm heart-attack serious here, not looking for snarky answers....would Walker's initiatives pertain to the private unions also?

That's the price you pay when you have a governor that lied from the beginning, bulldozed his way in and never stopped to listen to or compromise with his constituents, cutting everything in sight and gaving it away to corporations. These costs are solely on Walker and his fascist administration.
11:36 AM on 01/07/2012
No worries. The Walker admin. will just the money out of the states public education budget.

Is it TRUE that Walker

hired a donor's son for an $81,500/year management-level state job

even though he did not have the QUALIFICATIONS,

and OTHERS who were passed over DID have them?

Seems like a waste of Taxpayer money,

but not a SOUND from Walker's defenders about THIS?

LOL!

Walker the guy that takes from everyday hard working people to give more to his Wealthy Over Lords! The everyday working person has already paid a cost and had no say in what was done to them.
