Hotel Pelirocco has been open for over a decade, but the Do Knit Disturb room is the most recent addition to the Rock n Roll themed hotel. Designed by Kate Jenkins, almost every surface in the room is crocheted or knitted in a rainbow's worth of bright colors. This past weekend, the crafty Brighton-based artist was featured in the New York Times Magazine, which stated that Jenkins used 11 pounds of yarn during the project. We also fell in love with the other rooms in the hotel, which run the gamut from sexy to soulful. For this reason, it should come as no surprise that the Brighton mainstay has hosted The Scissor Sisters, Primal Scream, and the Noisettes, to name a few bands that have stayed overnight in the 19-room hotel.
