Between the presidential election, the Olympics, The Hunger Games movie, and the upcoming release dates of some pretty awesome new gadgets, 2012 is already shaping up to be an exciting year.
The tech world is buzzing with rumors about the iPhone 5 and iPad 3, the 2012 release dates of which are still TBD. But the iPad 3 and Kindle Fire 2 will have some major competition -- a new kid on the tech block, the highly anticipated Google tablet, will also be released this year.
A recent poll on the "Most Anticipated Tech Products of 2012" released by Sodahead.com found that most buyers are excited for the iPhone 5, which came in on top with 35 percent of the vote. The iPad 3 came in at second with 20 percent, followed by the Google tablet (16 percent), the PlayStation Vita (12 percent), Wii U (11 percent) and the Kindle Fire 2 (seven percent).
