Jack Johnson Tebowing: Kings Defender 'Tebows' During Goal Celebration Against Capitals (VIDEO)

NHL Player Celebrates Goal By Tebowing

Tebowmania has reached the National Hockey League.

Early in the second period of Monday night's game between the Kings and Capitals, Los Angeles defenseman Jack Johnson whipped the puck through the legs of Washington goalie Tomas Vokoun for his side's third goal of the game. As he skated back to the bench following the goal, Johnson celebrated by Tebowing!

Yes, the Internet sensation spawned by fans of the Denver Broncos' quarterback during the middle of the NFL season has found its way to the ice.

When Johnson was asked during the second intermission about the celebration, the 25-year-old said he had made a bet with his friends while watching Denver's thrilling overtime win over Pittsburgh the night before that if he scored, he would celebrate by Tebowing. And he did.
