Jane Fonda Divorce: Talks Splits On 'Oprah's Master Class'

Jane Fonda was featured on Oprah's Master Class Sunday, where she revealed how her divorce shaped her as a person.

The 74-year-old legend recalled the moment she decided to walk away from her decade-long marriage to third husband, Ted Turner.

"I remember when I was 62 and I had done something that was very, very, very painful and difficult," Fonda said. "I had left Ted Turner, my third husband, who I loved very, very much."

The actress explains that leaving allowed her to seek wholeness -- something she hadn't felt in years: "I knew that I would die married and rich, but not whole."

Fonda and Turner were married from 1991 to 2001, and remain good friends. Fonda has a daughter from her first marriage to Roger Vadim, and a son with Tom Hayden, whom she was married to for sixteen years.

Also, her life isn't that exciting. You never heard of her having any big romances until she married her first husband when she was nearly 30. She acts like she's lived this racy past and she really hasn't.

Didn't feel "whole"??? Maybe she can get back all the pieces of her face that she has had removed over the years and then she would feel like a "whole" 74 year-old woman. Really, could this woman be any more self-centered?

My opinion on Ms. Fonda is that she should have been held accountable for her actions through the legal system, specifically as its statures pertain to acts of trea son. If arrested and convicted I believe that she should have been punished to the fullest extent of the law.

There are many comments that make the cut about Jane Fonda and her shameful behavior during the Vietnam war period. Many of those made by vets are quite strong and demonstrate disdain for her. Several times I have commented, expressing my opinion on the subject, only to have them excluded because the violated the 'guidelines,' which I am convinced are selectively enforced depending on the view expressed.

I did not serve in Vietnam, enlisted in Nov 1977. As long as ANY vet is alive, Jane's crimes will never be forgotten.. The day she passes away I will fly my US flag and MIA-POW flag at full mast..
