Molly Sims Pregnant: Model, 38, Is Expecting A Baby

A very fashionable baby is on the way!

Molly Sims, model, jewelry designer and host of "Project Accessory," is pregnant, Life & Style is reporting.

"She's very happy. She's wanted to be a mom for a long time," a source told the magazine.

Sims, 38, married producer Scott Stuber, 43, in September. The pair dated for a year and a half before getting engaged in May 2011.

We're not super surprised to hear the news, because Molly has talked publicly about wanting to have kids; she told Aspen Peak magazine in 2009:

“I will adopt and I definitely do want to have my own children...Absolutely, my biological clock is running. I find if we start with our little ones, it may not be where the most improvement is, but it’s where the most hope is.”

Sims snagged her big modeling break in 1998 as an Old Navy spokesperson and soon landed herself on five Sports Illustrated swimsuit covers. She's also appeared on TV, on MTV's "House of Style" and recently, "Project Accessory," and produces her own jewelry line, Grayce by Molly Sims.

We hope the rumors are true, because that's bound to be one gorgeous baby.

She also writes in a super cute post on her blog that the baby is a "honeymoon baby, due at the end of June."

It's refreshing when a pregnant woman is married to the father of her baby. It's so rare in this age have-it-all, do-it-all, single, career girl mothers and celebrities that buy babies through private adoptions. Sims is doing it the old fashioned way. Best of health to her and her baby!

Sorry folks, but like Mittler, I cannot see having children so late in life. Call me old-fashioned, but seriously to be almost 60 when your kid graduates from High school is totally pushing the envelope physically and mentally on women in general. The arguement the 40's are the new 20's doesn't really cut it.

Is there a law that states you can't have children later in life? It is the preference for so many of us and it is our choice. Just because you have a kid at 20 or 25 does not make you a better parent and age is totally an inappropriate arguement. You are only as old as you feel.

If women were not meant to get pregnant in their 30s or thereafter, then they wouldn't the natural and 'old fashioned' way. Some of us go through college, graduate school, and try to work and save money before having a child so that we are prepared financially for it. It would be great to have a child at 20 like my mom did but today is a different world and since marriages don't last like they used to, women need financial stability to raise kids. Having kids very young will limit one's opportunity for a good lifestyle for their child and themselves.

30s? There is a huge difference between being a 30 year old woman and a 38 year old women. Being financially stable is not always the most important thing. Why? Because, what if a doctor told you that you need to get pregnant at a certain age, let's say a decent age 28 or you will never be able to have children because your eggs are old biologically... and if you are not financially ready then what would you do? Let's be honest , 38 for the first child is very late and unfair for the child because he/she won't feel that connection with parents, and will not be on the same page when their child becomes a teenager. Now, in 21st. century 25 to 32 is the best age to get pregnant. My former friends that live in Ukraine are 27 and they had kids at 20 and 23 and yes, they had stability then, (and still do) because of their husbands :) Also, anything can happen in life, you never now. So if you have a baby while you're financially stable, something can happen.

I'm happy for her & he hubby! How exciting for them! She may be well known for being a model and on the other television shows, but let's not forget she was on the t.v. show "Las Vegas" for many years playing the character known as "Delinda Deline." The character she played was the t.v. daughter of character "Ed Deline," played by actor James Caan, who was in charge of running the "Montecito Casino" on the show. When I first saw the show called 'Project Accessory' a few weeks ago and saw her on there, I told myself ~ I know her ~ that's Delinda Deline! And now she's a jewelry designer too ~ that's great!

I can't understand why, in the whole article, what is never mentioned, is that she is probably best known for being an actress, starring for several years on the TV show "Las Vegas". I loved that show. Lots of hotties. PS I wish I were the "baby daddy". LOL

Yes, I remember her very well from the "Las Vegas" television show too! She's such a beautiful and talented lady! Yeah, jdshannon03, I know which "hotties" you're talking about ~~ "Mary", "Delinda" and "Samantha." Hey! the guys were pretty "hot" too, especially "Danny" played by Josh Duhamel.
