Golden Globes 2012 are finally here!

We got a dose of crazy at the VMAs, a hint of glamour at the Emmys and a smattering of film fests since then. But the glamorous Golden Globes are what we've been looking forward to all season -- for the gorgeous red carpet dresses, of course.

I absolutely adored Angelina's dress, but she wore it terribly. Heidi Klum was looking very.....Heidi Klum, as usual. 

On another note, I LOVED Sarah Hyland's vintage D&G dress.

So I really think that people aren't giving Sarah Michelle Gellar enough credit. She looked young, and fresh, make-up, hair, jewelry SPOT ON; as well as her flawless tan. So for me she would been the best dressed of the night. Followed by Charlize, then actually Jessica Alba just beautiful.

Emily Watson and Jessica Biel need color and fit. Amanda Peet, what was that dress, a leftover umbrella? Kelly and Mom Osbourne - EGADS. Madonna looked like she was ready for a corpse wedding.

Giuliana Rancic looks like she has crossed the line from Hollywood skinny to needs help. Poor thing looks like she needs a break after all that's happened her in the past year.

I won't comment on who looks bad. That's just mean, and they are all really trying to look their best. To me, Diane Lane and Andy McDowell are the only two who managed to pull off looking classy without resorting to wearing funeral black. There's a reason why black dresses are called "little". Too big doesn't work in that color.

Seriously? Two of the worst dressed at the Globes, Sharon & the hostess from Extra. Sharon looked like she yanked the drapes from her windows or left over fabric from reuphosterling a sofa and the Extra dress looks like something she wore as a bridesmaid.

At least half these women needed better (or some) undergarments. I don't know why Spanx are so popular if this is all they do. I don't care how skinny women make themselves. Their stomachs often protrude and their breasts and rears sag. It doesn't show the clothes in the best light. The designers should speak up and demand that these women have the clothes properly fitted.

Angelina wins it for me. Followed by Sofie Vergara and Charlize Theron.
I thought Tilda Swinton looked edgy. But was disappointed with Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet let herself down. What was with all the mermaid dresses???
Heid Klum looked uber stylish.
Michelle Williams needs a stylist.
Jessica Biel looked frumpy :( Reese was unspectacular. Frieda Pinto and Zooey Deschanel both looked boring :(.
Lots of average and below average frocks.
Ironically, the worst dressed are the hosts from 'Crimes of Fashion'. Even Sharon Osbourne looked better than Kelly.
