Hamlet The Mini Pig Wants His Bottle (VIDEO)

The Huffington Post   First Posted: 01/11/12 02:06 PM ET Updated: 01/11/12 02:06 PM ET

There's nothing more adorable than a little piglet squealing in excitement at feeding time. And in this ridiculously cute YouTube video, this little piggy is jumping for joy as he tries to reach his bottle.

Don't worry, his owner assures us this wasn't the only meal for the day for the appropriately named Hamlet.

"Hamlet was completely weaned and eating solid food, but he really loved getting a bottle for a treat!", the YouTube video description reads.

The footage reminds us of a recent viral video featuring a cute puppy so enthusiastic about chowing down on his food that he couldn't even keep his hinds legs on the ground.

Other not-to-be-missed adorable videos include this cat stealing a dog's bed and this kitten snuggling up to a deer.

Actually, making him work a bit for it is a good idea. If you've ever raised a litter of puppies or watched piglets trying to nurse, they scramble over each other, shove each other aside , wriggle and squirm, trying to find the teats. Which is all very good exercise. Sometimes you have to help a kitten or puppy or piglet that's a little weak, especially when they are just born, but otherwise, let them work at it a bit. Just make sure that they do get enough to eat, whether it's from a bottle or Mom!

This is really adorable however I find it offensive to name this precious baby pig "Hamlet." In a way, it may remind people of what is actually done to these intelligent creatures for food and yet it can also be an insult. I am sure it was not meant the latter but I would suggest another name that is so well deserving of this precious little baby. May God bless all animals.

I've seen this little guy before, I love mini pigs, and my friend really wants one.

All babies are cute. I just hope your friend as well as other people realize that these animals get bigger and it is a lifetime commitment to keep them. They have feelings too. Who would want to see an animal die of a broken heart in which some can. Why risk it? Good Luck!

What a little cutie, what I'd like to see is the owner getting ready to eat a nice tasty steak, then have someone move it all around so she can't get a bite.

Hamlet is very cute. Great video. Pigs are amazing animals. Very intelligent and emotionally sensitive.

When we were little and staying on our grandparents farm our mom forbade us to go see the hogs being slaughtered. I was 4. My older siblings of course sneaked off one day with me in tow since they were my babysitters.

I have never been so horrified in my life.Blood and squealing.Just awful

Today I'm a vegetarian. It's the most humane way to live.

I often think I'd want a pig for a pet, but don't think I could pull that off in Brooklyn.
