The People's Choice Awards took place in Hollywood last night and the stars were shining bright.
And while there were plenty of colorful ensembles spotted on the red carpet, the long list of celebs in attendance lacked, um, color.
Many of the black stars that were nominated for awards were sadly no-shows. We were hoping to see Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer from "The Help," Rihanna (who won Favorite R&B Artist), Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Nicki Minaj. And we all know why Beyonce and Jay-Z skipped the event.
But the few black celebs that were on hand did not disappoint.
Morgan Freeman happily accepted an award for Favorite Movie Icon. And Tia and Tamera Mowry from Style Networks "Tia & Tamera," were nominated (but didn't win) for Favorite TV CelebReality Star and looked fab as they worked the red carpet.
Tia, who also stars on BET's "The Game," showed off her post-baby body in a chic silver gown. She pulled off the old Hollywood glamour style with ease. Tamera, on the other hand, went for a sexier look in black lace and strappy heels.
These sisters definitely have style. What do you think?
