Golden Globe Awards 2012: Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie To Present Award

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will present an award at the Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, The Huffington Post has learned exclusively.

Both stars are also nominated for Globes this year. Pitt is up for both Best Actor in a Drama and Best Motion Picture Drama for starring in and producing the baseball film "Moneyball," while Jolie is in contention in the Best Foreign Language Film category for her directorial debut, Yugoslav War drama "In the Land of Blood and Honey."

Pitt and Jolie join a long list of stars scheduled to present on Sunday; Natalie Portman, George Clooney, Mila Kunis, Mark Wahlberg, Robert Downey Jr., Reese Witherspoon, Rob Lowe, Michelle Pfeiffer, Salma Hayek, Melissa McCarthy and Nicole Kidman are amongst the other big names set to hand out trophies at the Ricky Gervais-hosted show.

The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards will air LIVE coast-to-coast on NBC. The pre-show runs from 7-8 p.m. EST (4-5 p.m. PST) and the main event is slotted for 8-11 p.m. EST (5-8 p.m. PST).

It is smart of them to cater to the Hollywood "glam" considering an Oscar is on the line. Last thing you want is for the Hollywood establishment to think you're too good for the industry that made your lives possible.

1) WORKED for the $$$ they have

So much intense hatred, but no non-highschool-type reasons stated. She's too thin? Shape of her lips? Married to Billy Bob? Too many articles written about them? The old Team Jen routine? Too much humanitarian work? Adopted too many children for your liking? Brad's hair is longer, so he must not be taking showers? You don't like the fact that she uses her middle name for her last? You don't care for their interviews? Don't like their movies? There is so much obvious hatred for them, and yet the second a new article comes out, you circle like a bunch of snapping hyenas. I'ts all so "Mean Girls". Why not just avoid the articles and read something that interests you?

Nay! I`m retired after 35 years. New to this stuff. I don`t understand your comeback. I don`t have a tv guide. I watch Fox and Cnn. Read newspapers. I might watch some of the show tonight. Good game on to. I saw Ricky last year.He put on a good show. Liked how he got the STARS mad at him. The stars Whooa don`t ruffel their feathers. I know they are perfect. I kind of see what you mean. I was watching an old black and white movie the other day, and I thought how different it must have been at one time. I think we discusssed something like this on another thread. The media is so much to blame for the over-saturation of the Kardashians, Hiltons, etc. I have never been a fan of these award shows. With all the awards that are provided, it seems almost too self-congratulatory.

Who??? That's just it they would both just fall apart if no one knew who they were. I recently was watching the news yes the world news and they showed a clip of these two narcissists walking down some stairs to flashbulbs and to their adoring fans. They looked like they expected this treatment like they deserved this treatment. They both act like they want their privacy and just hate to be bothered on the street but yet "these little people who bother them and find interest in them are the reason they are who and where they are in life" You would never see a real actor Robert DeNiero, Clint Eastwood, Al Pacino, Robert Redford, Meryl Streep and the likes ever behave like this because they don't need to they are known for doing a great job at what they do and not for trying to get into every magazine possible. Then act appauled that "their adoring public won't leave them alone" they are both very lucky anyone cares the day that stops they will create a reality show to stay in the spotlight lolololol.

These two people give more to charity and to the little people then any of you haters. They do not complain when the paps follow them in fact they have stated that they knew what to expect when they took on this career. They take it with a grain of salt. They also know that thier fans do not want to see them spitting and hissing , they want to see them smile and that is what they do. Redfors and the rest most certainly do smile for the paps and sign autographs because they know where the $$$ comes from. These two never act like their publioc won;t leave them alone. You must be thinking of all your fans????

So what have these to two generous people given to you or any charities in which you are involved in. Just because I responded to this post does not mean that I don't contribute to any charities or to my community in anyway. And from what I can see I don't see any big difference that they have made to anyone or anything in my community or any of the charities in which I donate to. You must know them personally to say that they never act like their public won't leave them alone. Personally I can give a hoot about these two homewreckers....as far as my fans go I'm not so shallow in needing adoration from those that don't even know me.

I agree with your comment whole heartily. I will probably get a backlash for agreeing with your or be accused of being a Jen fan, but I do love some of the more seasoned actors.
