Angelina Jolie Golden Globes 2012 Dress: Love It Or Leave It? (PHOTOS, POLL)

Angelina Jolie's directional debut "Land Of Blood And Honey" is up for Best Foreign Language Film tonight, but before she even went up for any accolades, she stunned us on the red carpet in her silver and red gown on the red carpet.

The mother of six looked stunning in Atelier Versace and a chignon on the arm of her partner Brad Pitt, who was sporting long hair and toting his signature cane.

Angie loves her metallics -- and the dress reminded us a ton of the shiny frock she wore to the 2001 Golden Globes. But, we're guessing Angie's look is going to be controversial. Does that red panel seem a little odd to you? She also matched her red lipstick to it.

We hate to say it, but we might prefer Angelina's Versace gown from last year.

Could care less how many children she has adopted, or his past relationships. The ensemble is too matchy. Reminds me of the high school girls who would only wear black belts with black shoes....

I didn't love the dress, but I didn't hate it. I though the angular look made Angelina look more angular and harsh. There is no arguing with the fit and the cut, and the whole of the styling, it was perfect for the dress and the look.

It just didn't appeal to me.

If you look back at the Golden Globes, it was kind of sad, but Brad was talking with several people, shaking hands, etc. Angie just glares...and no women came up to hug her or talk with her....wonder why...

I don't know what Angelina is doing, but she 'must be living right', because she's definitely a 'vision in white' in that dress. She is absolutely the most beautiful woman in the wolrd.

Her tattoos make her look just trashy. I want to like her but all I see is home-wrecker. I don't think all the adoptions and trips to third world countries in the universe can repair this woman's reputation.

Such a shame that all you can see is a "home-wrecker". You probably think anyone with tatoos is "trashy" Do you even know what her tatoos say?
The fact that Brad's marriage to Jennifer was not necessarily a good one and there were no children. In fact from what I understand it was some conflict with Brad and Jenn in the first place about his desire for family and her desire for career first. Angie has offered not only family of adopted and biological children, but continued with her career mixed in with her humanitarian causes.

What "reputation" does she have to repair? Some wild times in her youth that people like you won't let go of? is it just because she and Brad are not married that makes you think they have not created a HOME. I admire their dedication to each other, their children, and support for each others careers.

Can't you give her some credit?

I guess based on her past behavior, having broken up more than one couple, I don't feel any kind of admiration for her attempts at trying to PR her way back into the public's good graces. I have nothing against tattoos and I do know what her tattoos say, I simply find them extremely unattractive (hers that is). I have seen other's that are not so bad. She has 6 children who are being mostly raised by nannies. Is that okay? I guess if you are not intent on having a relationship with your children, then it's fine. The kids will probably not be worse off for not forging a relationship with someone of her moral standing. That is how I see it. You may see things differently. That's fine with me. I'm pretty sure neither of us know her personally so we have to base any judgments made on what we read, hear and see in the media. You completely attributed something to my comments that wasn't there at all. I said nothing about the home they have created or about them not being married. I simply have a different interpretation than you of what the media has shown us. Have a nice day.
