Reese Witherspoon Golden Globes 2012 Dress: Beachy Chic! (PHOTOS, POLL)

We're honoring Reese Witherspoon with our "outfit we most want to buy this second" award.

Reese opted for head-to-toe red in Zac Posen's pre-fall 2012 peony taffeta bustier gown, Fred Leighton jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes at tonight's Golden Globes.

We're especially loving how she kept her hair down in long, beachy waves. Who needs hairspray?

Reese tends to favor one-color dresses (like her stunning yellow strapless gown in 2007 or the navy dress from 2010), and we're not complaining: this girl knows what works.

Who is the one that questions Angelina Jolie's dress and honors this ill fitting number? Reese is lovely but the dress is not exceptional and seems too small for her.

It is obvious that I am way too sober to participate in the voting of Reese Witherspoon. This is one of the most ill fitting dresses I have ever seen on ANYONE and the hair, what happened?
Beachy Chic??????? Is that the new code for WHAT A MESS? I will admit some of the voting was tough, because I wanted to vote for the dress and not the person. And where is Laura Dern on this list. I think she had the best dress of all. It's almost as if the people doing the stories had to pick the obvious choices for what would be obvious reasons. This whole awards show voting is a big mess and it seems to have no credibility at all on the part of the reporting or whos dress is better aside from how you feel about the person wearing it. Meryl Streep is an acting genius and that just may have been the WORST DRESS EVER AT ANY AWARDS SHOW- EVER!!!!

It's a pretty dress (and not much else), but the bust doesn't fit. I don't understand how that's possible at an event like this. Didn't she have a proper fitting?

Poor choice. The number one rule of fashion is to not call attention to less flattering parts of your body. I will never understand why the A-B cup crowd insists on wearing outfits that call attention to the worst fitting part of the outfit.

it's a great look for a star....approachable hair and not too done up with makeup and jewelry. Love the idea that's it's "just a dress-okay?" not perfect-as in she had some other fun things to do, picked the dress, got ready and put it on and her natural self basically shows up for whatever happens. Angelina Jolie looked the oppositie-what's goin on with her?

I agree. I think it's because she's in love again, don't you? I like the dress, but that too-long look--I know it's intentional--is always a pet peeve of mine. Even though some decorators see them as very fashionable, I can't stand drapes or curtains that drag the floor, either. Just seems a terrible thing to do to fine fabric, even on clean carpets. I would have liked to see her do a more glamourous hairdo to go with it!

The bust line on that dress is horrible. It looks like she has to hunch her shoulders to keep it from falling off her breasts. Bad looking fitting.

She had in all probability had double-stick tape inside the dress-most stylists use it for strapless dresses to avoid spillage. I think the hunch of her shoulders was more her posing than anything else. She was doing the "sexy-model hunch" that is so popular on the red carpet these day. See Lea Michele, Evan Rachel Wood and other actresses poses and you'll see what I mean.
