Michelle Obama Birthday: FLOTUS Turns 48! (PHOTOS)

While celebrities and high-profile politicos get lots of perks, they are still just regular, normal people. That means they laugh, they cry... and they age.

Michelle Obama turns 48 today -- happy birthday, FLOTUS! While she's had a year full of speeches, travel and red carpet dresses, she's had plenty of down-to-earth moments too: walking the dog, watching a game of basketball and, yes, that famous trip to Target.

I am truly awestruck by the incredible Michelle Obama! I am 65 years old, and have NEVER, EVER seen a First Lady who could begin to hold a candle to her. She has endless grace, charm, and intelligence as First Lady. And yet she doesn't think twice about putting on her jeans and doing whatever needs to be done. She will be a tough act to follow, for future First Ladies! In the meantime, she's still here, and will be for at least another 4-8 years. HURRAY AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE UNSTOPPABLE MICHELLE!
