Cloris Leachman Wishes Betty White A Happy Birthday

Cloris Leachman, who stars as the eccentric grandma Maw Maw on the Fox comedy "Raising Hope," stopped by "Good Day LA" (weekdays, 9 a.m. PT on Fox) for a typically-freewheeling interview. After she cracked up while watching a clip of her show, Dorothy Lucey asked Leachman if she was feeling nuts. "I'm never being nuts. I'm always being a lovely older actress ... who's not as old as that old 90-year-old," Leachman protested, taking a friendly jab at her long-time friend and former "Mary Tyler Moore" co-star Betty White, who celebrated her 90th birthday with a televised special Monday night on NBC.

Leachman went on to wish White a happy birthday, and apologized for not making it to her birthday bash (she was "forced to go to a Fox event"). Steve Edwards asked Leachman, who's four years younger than White, if it was nice to have an older woman for a role model. Leachman insisted that despite being younger, she was actually White's role model. "I'm more settled down," she said, making a funny face to prove it.
