Costa Concordia Cruise Disaster: British Newlyweds Talk Tragedy (VIDEO)

WATCH: British Newlyweds Talk Surviving Concordia Disaster

British newlyweds Ian and Janice Donoff were taking in a magic show aboard the Costa Concordia when the lights went off and there was a loud noise, they told The Telegraph.

It was when the ship, which ran aground off the Italian coast , started listing that the newlyweds started thinking they might die.

"When you get married when you are in your twenties you don't think about mortality and you think you've got your life ahead of you," Janice told the paper. "And when we talk about things we want to do...I always get a bit frightened of we're planning too many things or think about too many things we want to do, because we don't know how long we've got. But never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd be in this situation eleven days into marriage when that would be all we had."

The couple were among the last 100 people taken from the ship.

Earlier Monday, it was reported that a Minnesota couple was among those missing.
