Hollywood Sign: Human Head Found In A Bag On Hiking Trail Near Famous Hollywood Sign

Many remember what was graphically in a box at the end of the movie "Seven," starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. But for those who don't, today life imitates art as a human head was found near the Hollywood sign.

According to KTLA, the human head, housed inside a bag, was discovered by a dog at the popular Bronson Canyon Park hiking trail. The Los Angeles Times adds that detectives are searching for other possible body parts nearby in the park, and that this is being considered a possible homicide.

I wonder how funny this is going to be when the family members find out that this has happened. And all the random jokes here right now are going to be read by those family members. People have you all lost your humanity. Who knows if there is a serial killer working here and they start finding all kinds of body parts of other victims? I guess that will be funny too! Nothing's off limits it seems when a crowd of people making comments here thing a murder is funny. Disgusting. I think I'm done reading the comments here because I don't find it funny and even though the cops made a really stupid comment doesn't make what happened any less horrible, just makes everyone here look like they have no hearts.

They think this is a possible homicide, brilliant observation. I heard about this news from last nights Nancy Grace and Jane Velez Mitchell. Obviously this little two paragraph article says nothing really. But imagine how gruesome to find something like that while walking dogs.
Who on earth would do something like this? It's awful to hear something like this, just awful. They said on the news last night that it was a fresh body part, meaning it was commited within a 12 hour period and dumped like that. Unbelievable. And whats most shocking for a change it wasn't a female, it was a man. That's shocking

Does anyone know of a case in which someone committed suicide by beheading themself and then placed their head in a bag and placed the bag in a conspicuous location? Doubtful but according to the religious right, not impossible.
