"Today" and "Good Morning America" got new looks on Tuesday morning.

Both morning shows debuted new graphics. "Today" introduced a new opening and an updated logo, after celebrating the show's 60th anniversary last week. Watch it in the clip above. The lower thirds, which were formerly centered at the bottom of the screen, now extends all the way to the right.

"GMA" has a new logo and opening as well. The background, which was blue, now features red, yellow and orange ribbons.

I have made the switch to the new CBS. It is great! There is a freshness about CBS that the others seem to have lost.

"Freshness" is your criteria? Does anybody care about the news anymore? Journalism vs. entertainment?

Well if you watch it you will see they have greatly increased the amount of news they are now covering as opposed to the three minutes on the ABC and NBC morning shows, and to that amount of additional news is refreshing. Its hard core news and not entertainment, but if you would watch that I you would know that.

OMG ... Just realized I've not watched the first two hours of either NBC or ABC's morning talk shows since CBS This Morning had its debut. This morning I did turn to the third hour of The Today Show, but didn't notice any change. Change is good.

The new kid on the block is CBS' New Morning Show. Gayle King, Charlie Rose and Erica Hill are a great match. The CBS show is freshing. The Today Show has become (and has been for a long time) stale. I actually switch back and forth between CBS and ABC. Love Robin Roberts.
