Queen Latifah Discusses Talk Show, Plays 'Mob Wives' Hairpiece Theatre With Wendy Williams (VIDEO)

Queen Latifah And Wendy Williams Do 'Mob Wives' Hairpiece Theatre

Queen Latifah's interview Wednesday on "The Wendy Williams Show" (weekdays on Fox) started off with some news, and ended with Williams and Latifah acting out a scene from VH1's "Mob Wives."

The ladies began the segment with a discussion of Queen Latifah's planned daytime talk show, which will premiere sometime in 2013. "The whole idea of it is not complete, but it's going to be very positive, it's going to be a lot of fun, and it'll just be me, sharing time with you guys," she explained. When Latifah asked Williams for her best talk show advice, the seasoned TV veteran advised her to be mindful of her floor manager's thirty-second warning, because when that countdown reaches zero, a hard cut-out follows.

The ladies then moved to a ridiculous and entertaining sketch series that Williams, always a fan of weaves, calls "Hairpiece Theatre." Donning wigs, the ladies recreated an argument between "Mob Wives" stars Drita and Renee. Reading from a script and smoking fake cigarettes, the ladies lobbed insults like "you dirty hoagie" at each other and broke several break-away glass bottle props over the table and each other's heads.

Maybe instead of the talk show, Queen Latifah should think about getting a trashy reality show.
