Unusual set of comments here. Hateful one sided and ignorant. Seems to have been flooded with brainwashed FOX kool-aid/tea drinkers. The majority of them coming onto Huffpost in spring 2011. Did trump or rush or billo sick some haters onto this web site to complain about Rosie?
The tone is Inconsistent with the kind of interesting and more substantive comments that used to distinguish the Huffpo comments sections from many others on the web. Seems they have all completely bought into the right wing media propaganda attack on Rosie.
The quality of this comment section seems to have been greatly diluted since the merger with AOL.

I know Oprah is desperate for people to fill up her new Oprah Winfrey Network; but she's not helping it with Rosie O'Donnell. ( Not that I'm going to watch it ) I imagine she gave O'Donnell some guidelines and put her on a short leash. Somehow I don't think Rosie can handle it. She's more like an inner Keith Olbermann AND she's not really funny.

I don't understand why she thinks it is any different for men in comedy. A laugh is a laugh. It is an emotion every one responds to. Nobody cares if the person making you laugh is male or female. Rosie has always been a bit of a whiner, complainer and moaner.

Rosie has difficulty because she is annoying. Okay, so she's a lesbian, so is Ellen and she doesn't rub our nose in it everyday, at least not since they cancelled her sitcom. There are other lesbian comics out there that aren't whining.

So she's a woman. So is Kathy Griffin and a host of other women comedians. They aren't whining, except for Joan Rivers, but she whines about everything, it's her shtick.

Kathy is funny. Rosie is rude and annoying. Both could probably buy a small midwestern town with cash, so our humble opinions apparently don't count for much.
