SOPA vs. The Internet: A Laughter Blackout (PHOTOS)

With today's SOPA blackout in full effect, we started thinking: what would the future-Internet look like without all of the awesome material for the web culture we love? What would people do with themselves all day if they weren't finding funny news items and then spinning them around into other, funnier news items? What would anyone talk about at water coolers?

We decided to try censoring our favorite web news topics just to see how it'd feel, and we've got to say, the results were pretty bleak.

So if you find some time between playing "The Day the LOLcats Died" on repeat and signing petitions, take a swing at making a SOPA edit of your own and submitting it below!

The Sopa protests stopped the legislators dead in their tracks! Job well done by the people and the Internet providers! Corporations and people can work toward a common goal, but BOTH have to benefit!
