'Storage Wars': Has Barry's Luck Changed? (VIDEO)
Barry Weiss hasn't had a lot of luck lately on "Storage Wars" (Tue., 10PM on A&E) but in the storage-bidding business, a new streak of luck is just behind a locked door.
Weiss found some horse racing-themed artwork (and a gnarly mattress) in a locker he bought for $320 in Inglewood, California, and hoping it might be valuable, he headed to Hollywood Park racetrack to have it appraised.
As it turned out, a devastating fire in 1949 made the artwork very rare. The appraiser pegged the art's estimated value at $5,000, which gave gave Barry a much-needed morale boost and a tidy profit.
"Storage Wars" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. EST on A&E.
