Vanessa Paradis, Johnny Depp Split? Say It Ain't So! (PHOTOS)
In case you haven't read the news, Vanessa Paradis and her longtime boyfriend, Johnny Depp (heard of him?) are reportedly on the rocks. The beautiful couple have been together for almost 14 years, both leading high-profile lives split between Europe and the U.S.
People notes that the growing separation, both geographically and professionally, contributed to the break-up. "Vanessa went seven years between albums and several years between film projects while he became Jack Sparrow," a source told the publication.
But we can't help but point out that while she didn't shoot to superstardom via music or acting, she did maintain a strong foothold in the world of style.
To fashion fans, Vanessa Paradis is known as a Karl Lagerfeld fave, both a muse to the Chanel designer and the face of multiple ad campaigns. She's also covered plenty of mags in her time with Depp, including several editions of Elle and Marie Claire.
So while we're totally bummed about the rumored split, we've taken it as an opportunity for look back at Vanessa's busy style career. We hope that a split with Depp doesn't also mean a split with the fashion world -- we'd miss ya, Vanessa!
