2012 Iowa Caucuses:

Rick Santorum - Final total: 29,839 Change: -168
Mitt Romney - Final total: 29,805 Change: -210

It’s a tie for the ages.

There are too many holes in the certified totals from the Iowa caucuses to know for certain who won, but Rick Santorum wound up with a 34-vote advantage.

So, that means Romney has won a near record 1 in a row. That along with Newt's 21st century N-word campaign surge in S.Carolina puts a small crimp in Mitt's inevitability doesn't it? Somebody had better hand the GOP cannibals some napkins.......... this meal is going to take a little longer than anticipated!

Obviously voter fraud in the GOP. They protest too much about it because they try to deflect the attention away from them. Their proclamations of voter fraud by Dems really should bear better scrutiny on Repubs voter fraud where it really is happening.

This is why the voter identification laws being proposed by SOME states (not all are equally bad) are bad. By default they assume fraud. It is okay to do what when flying it seems like or even driving (it's a privilege not a right we are told) but voting is a right, not a privilege. The standards are very different.

I have no problem with the requirement that only legitimate votes should count in an election. Who could have a problem with that? But I do have a problem when states with long histories of disenfranchising certain groups of people enact laws that looks like they want to do it again.

This was an election that I frankly don't care at all about. Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum are both pretty mean and petty people it seems like but I am going only by statements they've made on TV.

WE the people, need some independent and armed guard of the voting boxes, not appointed by partician gov, but a grandmother, father, mother, and college student poll watch and instant video reporting of the transporting of the vote. These people have to be taken seriously and the crime severely penalized. Honesty and integrity of states election boards, can't be known as sham in the future elections for our children and grands. WE the people have lots of serious work on firing these cheaters in life, who have neither earned their glory title to represent the people, nor follow OUR elections laws. Trampling on states, and federal laws, is punishable.

It's time to put the foot in their cheating arzes regardless of corporations are people too.
What is good for the goose/people is good for ALL corporations/people too!!

The media needs to find these "missing" votes. Like an Easter egg hunt, they supposedly have to be somewhere. Should this be called "Iowa-Gate?" Why aren't cameras filming the voting and counting process from the beginning to the end? Why isn't the media allowed as observers?

They did have media filming of some of the caucuses - but the entire process is haphazard and sloppy. People vote on - literally - scraps of paper that are put into piles. Then people sort the piles and make their own tallies. The room for fraud is so gapingly large its appalling. I watched the film coverage on Caucus night with my jaw dropped.

Congratulations. The corruption in this country has finally reached the point where it is painfully apparent that now we need international officials to monitor our elections. Just like other third world countries.

Looks like we are going to need armed officials who check ID and then allow voters to pass through a metal detector one at a time in all voting precincts.

Chuckie Todd just admitted that votes from the missing 8 precincts would put Santorum at an even bigger win.

Wonder how many "Red" states will be missing their vote tally's when it becomes clear that President Obama has won a 2nd term.

Just go's to show how mess up republican caucuses are . The Iowa republican caucuses has
been turn in to just one big pay to play church BINGO night . Iowa now been exposed for how
it has loss any relevance it once had in the picking of republican candidate . This is a G.O.P mess
that the party it self has; for the lack of creditability of their system in counting and maintaining
a relevant believable vote process .
09:07 AM on 01/19/2012
one suspects that the "real" number is somewhere in between. if there's still 8 not-fully-accounted-for precincts, how can they possibly certify either result? any one of the missing tallies could still swing it in either direction.

Maybe the GOP just need to calm down ... they've been beating their poor lil heads against walls since the day President Obama announced his candidacy for president! Iowa GOPers can't count or even find votes ... geez ... maybe just take a 30 yr. sabbatical from jobs government created!!

So, Rick and Mitt will spend the entire GOP "debate" explaining how votes from 8 Iowa districts are missing ... and how white folks need to develop better work ethics ... or janitorial services just may be their missed vocations!

Cheats crooks N Liars, thy name is "republicorp"
There is no honor among the thieves.
So blatant in their quest for power over this country's military, they will come with experience in wall st banker theft, and ponzie expertise. That is why they go to YALE, to learn how to rip off a country's economy under their noses.

Yale did involuntary experimentation on African Americans while they were alive decades ago. Blood thirsty crooks and pirates the lot of them.

I wish the whole country rapid enlightenment and revelation to the truth about to unfold, so the accountability on those who continue to plunder this country during this rescession after paying to change regulations, can meet the Bubba's of America in every town, and city they robbed.

If the American citizen voter can go to jail for theft, so can the elite white collar "numbers men" on wall street, that robbed the citizen voter's future and economy for a decade of repair. Start at manditory ten for any and all who cooked the books.
