Jay-Z Throws Star-Studded Party For 40/40 Club Re-Opening, Warren Buffett Attends (PHOTOS)

Last night Jay-Z was joined by close friends and celebrities to fete the grand re-opening of 40/40, his New York City club.

The dapper dad, who wore a sharp black suit and a big smile, definitely knows how to throw a party.

Ashanti, Wale, Selita Ebanks, Russell Simmons and Spike Lee (who was showing his ever-present NYC pride dressed in head-to-toe New York Giants gear) were just a handful of stars on hand to celebrate the newly renovated club.

And talk about friends in high places--even multi-billionaire Warren Buffet attended the party!

Sadly, the one person who didn't show up (for obvious reasons) was Beyonce. The new mother was presumably home resting after just giving birth to her baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter, just two weeks ago.

But the singer and her baby girl were the talk of the party. An observer told US Weekly that Jay-Z pulled out his phone throughout the night and happily showed photos, presumably of his brand-new baby girl, to friends, who gave him and hugs and high-fives.

There was definitely lots to celebrate last night. Here's a glimpsed at the high-spirited event!

Hey all you Hip Hop and Rap artist we need you guys like ASAP in all the communities... Some of the music that's being made and played on the radio that artist now a days are making is becoming hazardous to the youth health. They listen to the music and being influenced by all the negativity in some of it. Not saying yours J, but just saying. SO send a message out to all the artist who make rap/hip-hop start talking about being educated and being positive and tell the youth it's good or cool what ever you wanna say, but we need this change like yesterday cause tomorrow might be to late.
