'My First Hardcore Song,' The Metal Music Video From An 8-Year-Old Australian Girl (VIDEO)

Listen everyone. This is Juliet. She's 8. She loves her dog Robert and her fishes and she wants to get her "two-step on."

She's not afraid of you, or anyone. She likes to jump on her trampoline along with her stuffed animals and she does windmills in the street.

WATCH YOUR BACK, SLIPKNOT.

Juliet made the video with Australian producer Rob Sharpe, a family friend, while her mother Tina recorded and edited it. Sharpe's YouTube page includes some equally adorable clips of Juliet innocently practicing piano and, a particular favorite, Juliet discovering she's going to be a big sister.

Basically, we are going to steal this child and raise her for our own.

CORRECTION: A previous version of this post stated that Rob Sharpe is Juliet's father. He is in fact a family friend.

Simply Adorable.

You know what? This video is cute and all, but it makes realize how pathetic so many of the "hardcore" bands were back then. I mean, you basically have to have zero talent, imagination or creativity to write and perform a hardcore song of that genre. Bands back then had followings of confused teens, mostly male, who need to belong to something and the straight-edge scene seemed good enough. I think back to bands like Judge, Sick of It All, and others, and how they were basically just a bunch of angry, sexually frustrated guys yelling into microphones, while a bunch of angry, sexually frustrated teens jumped around feeling righteous.

Hey trolls. Relax, take a deep breath and smile (if you remember how).

Cute.. but to really call this lil' ditty "Hardcore" they should have used Agnostic Front or Uniform Choice for the music track. Just to be clear what real "Hardcore" bands sound like.

More genius in a cracked pot than a whole one.

Wow the people who want to argue about the finer points of music categorization after viewing this little video is absolutely amazing first of all. Second - how cute is she! I just love her tough face which she can only work for about two seconds! Let the children rock! Let the children live! First lesson of internet/music stardom: Here come the ha8ers!

Its hardcore punk, not any type of metal, ESPECIALLY not nu-metal, which sucks.

Anyway, I find this video adorable and brutal at the same time. You're all bitter and jealous.

Music categorizing is exactly like theology. IE, the people that spend so much time arguing about it are all virgins.

Massive and utter crap.

Anyone else find this slightly disturbing? This seems like an exploitation of a young girl and why is the "family friend" a male who is the one shooting a video? Sometimes when there is smoke there is fire and this is very unusual since the little girl has a terrible singing voice which is not a big deal because she's 8 years old. The video is cleverly edited by a professional who seems to be quite infatuated with this little girl.

I appreciate your reply of "h" which I take could stand for HELP or HOW? You're right how in this crazy world of YouTube exposure do we start taking responsibility for what our fellow media obsessed society posts for other people to see and discuss. For whatever reason this one minute video has taken the YouTube world by storm. The majority of YouTube posters (99.9%) are legitimate and solid citizens. But what about the other .01% of people that are the evil doers? I'm a documentary filmmaker working on my PhD in media studies and my subject of the day is what kind of films do child molesters make using social media outlets? The answer my Huff Post friends is read the posted comments and when someone posts more than one comment that is negative towards the rest of the comments you have a clear signal that deception is in play and look deeper into the story. The Google exists for everyone and just read the comments on this site to find the folks that have a hidden agenda. The clues are there, the bread crumbs are scattered and just follow the trail and it will lead right to people that have ulterior motives when it comes to men that have a rich fantasy life involving underage children. Scary but true.

Or....her mom had a family friend who is a film editor and told him "hey, film my daughter, because she's cute and likes to perform"

Nobody cares if you don't think it's cute. Don't watch it. End of story. HuffPost, Slipknot isn't hardcore.

Very cute. The girl is adorable and obviously not inhibited. It is good to see young people with the confidence to try, to put themselves forward and give what they are doing all they have.

I hope the young lady has a bright future ahead of her!
