Sweaters are a big snore if you ask me. They don't really show off your shape, they are too slouchy to give your look a streamlined edge -- all in all, I find them to be nothing more than a necessary evil this time of year. That was until I took a closer look at the soft separates layered under edgy coats from the fall/winter collections from the likes of Theyskens' Theory and Derek Lam. This crop of sweaters called to mind bunnies -- soft and fluffy, they were just begging to be stroked (or better yet, curled up in for a nap). However, paired with skinny pants and boots they inject a bit of sweetness into an otherwise edgy look. If the thought of a cozy knit is about as exciting as your next trip to the dentist, we've got the roundup for you.
