We have a new celebrity crush in the form of Michael Fassbender.
In the new issue of W magazine, the 'Shame' actor talks about his diverse roles and, more importantly, his first job.
He told the magazine:
My first job was a commercial for SAS airlines. In the spot, I wake up in a pink room next to a beautiful blonde girl and get out of bed naked. From that point forward, it's been in all of my contracts: 'He must be naked in this film.'
We were just a wee bit curious about it, so we did some Googling and found the ad from 1998.
Fassbender is far from the first celebrity to shill for an airline, albeit he may be the first to do so in the buff. Last fall, American Airlines announced that Kevin Spacey would serve as its new spokesman, while Qantas depended on John Travolta's skills as a celebrity and a pilot before that.
Our question: How did we miss that SAS was offering cheaper flights for people under 26?
