Albion College's fight song is great because it might be in Olde English? In the sense that it reminds one of the words "Fight on!" but is somehow spelled differently. There are also many references to British people in the song.

To wit:

"Fyte Onne, and don't give in,
No fighting Briton ever has!
Fyte Onne, You Britons strong,
For at the top you do belong!"

Important to note that the Aggie's song doesn't even make sense any more since they left the Big 12 and will no longer be playing Texas teams or UT.

Not even close:

I submit the University of Montana fight song, which concludes with this phrase in honor of the school's Grizzly mascot: "And the squeal of the pig will float on the air from the tummy of the Grizzly Bear."

A&M's fight song references UT, a school they won't even be playing anymore. Does this mean they will be making a change and adopting a new song?

Sad that St. Olaf's "Um Ya Ya" isn't mentioned:

How about Pomona College's most famous song: "When Cecil Sagehen Chirps!"

Me thinks they doth protest too much!

If you've ever visited Northern Lower Michigan or the Upper Peninsula of Michigan in the summer, you will understand these are just words set to a catchy toon. Not an indictment of the entire State of Michigan as the words would imply. During the summer in these aforementioned areas of Michigan, you can't go anywhere without tripping over someone from Ohio who's on vacation enjoying our natural beauty. We welcome our neighbors to our south and hope they continue to visit often.

When Cal students talk about the "Big C", they're talking about something entirely different

I guess the Pixies' "U-Mass" isn't an "official" college song, eh?

Hmmmm...Yale's school song is set to a German nationalist tune used in both the First and Second World Wars and after the War yalie vets started a movement to change the song to something more "American." (they failed.)

How could you POSSIBLY leave out St. Olaf's "Umm Ya Ya"? That is far stranger than most of these.
