Sean Kingston Still Traumatized By Jet Ski Accident, Moves To Hollywood

Sean Kingston may be back on his feet, but his thoughts are still in a dark place. Following Kingston's recovery from a jet ski accident that nearly took his life in May 2010, the "Fire Burning" singer has been forced to leave Florida, where the accident occurred. Kingston and a female passenger collided with the side of a bridge in Miami, leaving Kingston in the ICU for more than 10 days with a torn aorta, broken jaw, fractured wrist and water in his lungs.

"My face was in the water and that's what crushed my lungs, because there was so much water," Kingston told the "Today" show after his accident. "It feels great, it's a blessing. God is great. For me to still be here it's only God's work."

According to TMZ, the 21-year-old is still so traumatized by the accident that after shaping up, he decided to ship out to the Hollywood Hills. The singer could reportedly hear the waves from his Star Island mansion, giving him nightmares and painful memories of the day that almost took his life.

Kingston is currently leasing a California mansion -- far from the water -- featuring a movie theater and gym.

I have to add one more thing. Huffington Postt, this is for you: With all the REAL news going on in this world, why do you consistently pick stories that no one cares about? Why do you write about people that the majority of folks have never heard of? Do you even READ these comments? I think you should release an article that states exactly what it is you are trying to accomplish. If it's reporting the news, you are failing badly. This isn't news - this is incomplete boring stories and unjustified thoughts. A girl loses both legs after trying to jump on a moving train? This Sean Kingston, whoever he is, moved to Calif. because he had a jet ski accident and can't get past it? What? Come on folks, get with the program or find a new line of work.

I thought that God had a plan for everyone & controlled all things.

If so why did he cause the accident & then save him ?

I think the real story may have been that he was a duesch & crashed & then with the help of doctors,fully equiped with scientific reasoning & expertise then saved him.

Spent 6 years in attending weekly Chapel services at a private school in Sydney.

Along with that during this time I actually studied the Bible cover to cover (something that most American Christian have not done) & found it to be a revolting,violent & utterly ludicrous collection of fairytales.

The bridge is very low where it did not have access through. The bridge is private for people who live on Star Island in Miami Beach. He was going to fast to slow down in enough time.

'My children and I had met Sean Kingston personlly when he came to Florida and had pictures taken with him, My children ages 9 and 11 were thrilled that I had purchased a VIP ticket to meet him, He was not thrilled at all to have met us and would not even speak to my children, look at them in their eyes or smile in the picture. My children went away very sad that day. I hope he finds peace and HAPPINESS in hollywood hills........

The doctors are the ones that took the time, effort and resources to stand there and bring him back to full health. If they didn't exist, the guy would be dead. That's it, there is no argument to that. It's called fact.
