'Shameless': Frank Asks Dottie To Marry Him (VIDEO)

Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) has done plenty of reprehensible things before, but on Sunday night's episode of "Shameless" (Sun., 9PM on Showtime) he threatened to sink to an all-time low.

Would he actually let a woman die just so that he could have sex with her and then get his hands on her money?

Dottie (Molly Price) -- a.k.a. "Butterface" -- had previously told Frank about her life-threatening heart condition and the fact that she couldn't have sex in case it killed her. This gave Frank an idea, so he put the hard sell on Dottie, trying to convince her that they should get married so that he could inherit her money in return for keeping her memory alive.

"I'll light a candle for you every day," he told the lonely and vulnerable woman. "I'll make sure the priest at St. Thomas More gives a mass in your honor once a month. And I'll put flowers on your grave. ... I won't let you be forgotten."

Believing that she had no chance of getting a heart heart through the organ donation scheme, Dottie agreed to his proposal. But at what cost? Would Frank actually stick with her in sickness and in health? What do you think? ...

Follow Frank and the gang on "Shameless," each Sunday at 10 p.m. EST on Showtime.

"Wow," was all I had to say about Frank telling the person calling that Dottie didn't need the heart anymore. I knew it would be something he'd think about, but I didn't think they'd make him that evil.

Shameless just got a little darker.

I'll still watch it though, because drunken antics are funny. And more importantly, Emmy Rossum and Laura Wiggins. Guh.

I had never watched 'Shameless,' but I tuned in because Molly Price is an awesome actress. Molly was superb, as always, but 'Shameless' goes beyond "shameless" to vile and despicable. The character of Frank has no redeeming virtues whatsoever. His actions toward Dottie are tantamount to cold-blooded murder. I won't be watching any more episodes of this disgusting series.
