The terms overrated and underrated get thrown around too much when describing NBA players, but that doesn't mean they aren't accurate descriptors in some cases.

Take these next 12 players, for example.

You mean to tell me Le"Bra"n Dames didn't make this list? You have got to be KIDDIN' me! And for crying out loud...someone over at Bleacher Report is extremely bored because that Norris Coles dude? I never even heard of him so how is he overrated?

Take this guy's job away from him and make him clean the floors at the Staples Center after Kobe finishes playing.

I have no problems with this list except Kobe Bryant. If anything he's underrated.

Kobe? What? That makes no sense, I can live with all of the others. Part of the reason Kobe is shooting a lower percentage is probably is wrist. This is an injury that usually takes a few weeks to heal, yet Kobe has played through it, and score 40+ several games in a row. Also, the offense isn't as good as it was last season, and there is nobody that can score from outside the paint other than Kobe. Last year, they at least had Odom who could score from 10-15 feet out. So Kobe has to take shots, when there is nothing going on down low.

Gee, great job* Adam Fromal...Can't come up with an intelligent topic to discuss so you produce one that's based on negativity and throw in Kobe's name to generate attention.
You should be proud.*

The most overrated player in the NBA is the ringless "king" who bails on his team, his home, his family, his city, etc.

His team. His home. His family. His city....

And his life.

I agree with most of the list, but come on... Why is Kobe Bryant even a thought for that list. I am not at all a Kobe Bryant fan, because I think that he's way to selfish and doesn't truly understand the term, "Team Game!!!". But even a aging Kobe Bryant is still exciting to watch. And how can the writer include Russell Westbrook on that list. I think that he's a very talented young player and is just as exciting to watch as Kevin Durant is. I don't really agree with Amar'e Stoudemire being on that list either. Amar'e is a great finisher and is very tough to stop in the post.

Any lsit of "NBA overated" thats does not include the league's ultimate selfish ans lazy ballplayer caremello anthony is fraudulent. any lsit that says Kobe Bryant, still one of the top 5 overall players in the league despite aging's effect, is "overrated" downright absurd. Anthony came to NY woith huge fanfare. Result so far : team playing sub-.500 ball since his arrival (!) , team gettign worse in defense and shooting more poorly overall since Anthony started hoisting up his "me first" bad shot repertoire.. Anthony plays zero defense - nada- zilch. Whoever put this list together really has a lack of insight into the game to exclude Anthony and include the still magnificent Bryant, simply because he is no longer playing like he is 26 years old.

Although Kobe himself at times seems to forget the term "Team Game", and I am not at all a Kobe Bryant fan, I do agree with you. He should not have even been a thought for that list. Even a aging Kobe is still very exciting to watch. And let's be real... Who out there is really better than him today??? Not many, if any!!! And as a Knicks fan I have to agree with you... The Carmello trade has been a disaster. He just doesn't fit the team's concept. He's way too selfish with the ball and just stops the ball movement with his ball hogging. Sad to say, but I think this team would be better without him, because then they can go back to the concept of, a team's game.

Good catch, Melo is overrated.
