Get Cameron Diaz's New Hair Cut
I don't know about you but I love a new hair cut. I've been growing mine for a while but I miss the excitement of a hair makeover. That's why I love it when celebs make a major change to their style. And Cameron Diaz's short new cut looks so low-maintenance and chic, I'm tempted to throw away years of growth for a trip to the salon.
When I'm ready to take the plunge, I’ll definitely visit Kit expert Greg May who shares his tips for getting Cameron's new look.
Make It Right For You
"Cameron Diaz's cut is a great versatile style that suits any face shape as long as it's styled correctly," says May. He suggests that people with oval faces copy Cameron's cut exactly but if you have a long face, opt for a side-swept fringe.
What To Ask For
"Ask your stylist to cut a clean outline, being very careful not to cut the sides shorter than the back," says May. "Then, have them create framework around face (once again, not making these front layers shorter)."
"Your stylist should follow that by lifting sections all up above the head and removing the corner (weight line) by creating long flat layers."
"Once your hair is dry the hair the fun begins. Have your stylist personalize your cut by slicing and point cutting into the hair for added texture and movement."

How To Style The Look
"I think for the look seen here a nice malleable styling cream, perhaps one with Argan Oil, to tame frizz and keep hair healthy would be a smart choice. If your hair is fine there are many thickening texturizing creams on the market that would complete this look."
