Alec Baldwin Is Still Discussing Run For New York Office (VIDEO)

Despite announcing that he was finally over his infatuation to run for mayor, Alec Baldwin appears to be revitalizing his self-run rumor mill by yet again discussing a run for office.

In an appearance on Piers Morgan Tonight, Baldwin chatted about his ongoing flirtation and said he "does want to run for office one day," proving beating hearts just can't stay still when a yearning to see yourself holding office is so strong.

He tells Morgan that he still has yet to figure out the details for his said political career. But the actor recognizes he has a great thing going for him playing Jack Donaghy on NBC's 30 Rock and it'll be at least two years before any official run is established.

The complicated relationship seemed to finally be over when just a month ago, Baldwin said he was no longer interested in running for mayor, scoffing at the "horny" politicians competing for the role:

I look at them and I don't see myself in that crowd. They're like a guy on a date that you can tell he just can't wait to get his hand up your blouse before even the lights go out in the theatre. They're all just so horny for it. Horny for their own ascension.
