Oprah Named Godmother Of Beyonce's Baby Blue Ivy: Report (UPDATE: Gayle King Denies)

Maybe it was the trunk full of books that did it?

Beyonce and Jay-Z have reportedly chosen to make Oprah the godmother of their inevitable planet-ruling daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
Media TakeOut says that the couple chose the other most powerful person in the world because they've grown close to Oprah over the years.

The talk show legend sent along the aforementioned trunk as a baby present for little Blue, cementing a clear tradition of gift-giving between herself and the Knowles/Carter clan.

Update: Gayle King, who would know such things, denied the report on Friday's "CBS This Morning."

Why would she want to GodMother for parents why name their baby like it was a variety of bush? It is more likely they want their baby to score some "Oprah swag". Thgey shgoiuld leave Oprah alone. She has a network to nurture. Two.
