I waited tables in the 80s and 90s. I served Ian probably about 100 times. He was always classy, respectful, funny and just plain great. Rock on, Ian.

Lovely man and wonderful actor. Long illustrious career. Always enjoyed chatting with him about life and art at BAFTA events. He will be missed. Ian was a versatile stage and film/TV actor who never stopped working. Glad that he achieved 'cult' status as Mr. Pitt. RIP, Ian. You will be missed!
