Jennifer Aniston Wows At Directors Guild Of America Awards (PHOTOS)

Jennifer Aniston has what some would call a Little Black Dress Addiction, a problem evidenced at last night's Directors Guild Of America Awards.

Jen and a slew of this year's Oscar nominees hit the red carpet in Hollywood to fete the industry's top directors, with "The Artist"'s Michel Hazanavicius winning the top prize. But the battle for best-dressed was a close fought one, with Aniston showing up in all her LBD glory.

While we've grown bored of the "Just Go With It" star's dark cocktail dresses, we must admit that Jen's Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2012 frock was pretty killer. The mini dress showed off those famously toned gams when paired with strappy black sandals.

But several other A-listers brought their A-game. New red carpet fixture Shailene Woodley, star of "The Descendants," looked stunning and mature in a red lace and Berenice Bejo of "The Artist" wore one of Gucci's ubiquitous black and gold flapper dresses.

Meanwhile Michelle Williams, who is gearing up for Oscar night after her Golden Globes Best Actress win, went dark and formal in Chanel Fall 2007 Couture.

That dress was a mistake on Jolie in 2010 and it's a mistake on Aniston now. Jolie is too thin and Aniston is too old. That dress would only look right on a woman with a great body and legs who is under 30. Aniston has short chunky legs and the dress is not becoming to her.

Chacun a son gout. You say tomayto, I say tomahto. You think she looks hot in that dress, I think she looks meh in that dress. I've seen her looking much better. That silver and white dress she wore to the Oscars 4 years ago with John Mayer knocked it out of the ballpark. Even though the hair was all wrong, the dress was perfection.

This is the same look I see on her time and time again. I would so like to see something different. I love when people aren't affraid to try new things. Lots of actresses these days look the same in EVERYTHING they do, even in their movies. Same hair, same style, it's so boring. She is a very pretty woman, but I can't help imagining how gorgeous she would look with super short hair and an avant garde dress.

I like Jennifer Aniston's clothes, but I always find her underwhelming in evening wear. And its because of the same old hair and makeup. I don't think she can do elegant very well. But I'm not so sure she could pull off having really short hair.

I've never fig;ured out what was so beautiful about Jennifer Annison. She just has that high school cheer leader look. And I read somewhere that she was voted the Most Beautiful Girl in the World.
She is NOT beautiful...and "famous legs" ???? they are short and not very pretty. Did you see Angelina Jolie in that white and red at the Globes...Now there was a beautiful woman.....

I can understand what u’re saying. I remember earlier in Jen’s career (i.e. “ferris bueller”-TV; “muddling thru”-TV) where not many guys at all (personally or publicly) were singing her praises. I thought she was an ok, shapely actress...but a few yrs later….a hollywood type weight loss, nose job and tons of tight tops with LOTS of nipplage each show (“friends”), and the same guys who had thumbed their noses at her, made her the hottest thing going. And from the comments both personal and magazine-wise….it had a lot to do with the titillation.
