Michigan Kindergarten Funding Requires Full Day

More Michigan kindergartners are going to have a full day to learn their ABCs and 1-2-3s, starting this fall.

In September, public schools must offer all-day kindergarten to receive full funding for each kindergarten pupil, under rules approved last year by the Legislature.
