Yep, after Perdue decided to retire this is actually a race again.

Wow. Is Perdue thinking of not running a 2nd term? Erskine Bowles was to NC as cursed at losing close elections as Dino Rossi was in Washington State. NC was a lot different last time Bowles ran.

I think once they got to know Heath Schuler, he'd do really well too.

Perdue already said she's not running...............once they decided to actually have the elections still she kinda bailed out!

Oh my GOD. Erskine's running for governor? He simply can't take a hint.

Abuse of power comes as no surprise.

Please stop him, NC! He's got both name and visage working against him, overtime. Like a geeky John Kerry. The large and diverse state of NC can't find someone more electable than Erskine?! Incredible.

I have a feeling they're just letting him do it so they can focus on other things. Lord knows we can't get a progressive elected governor in NC.

Believe it or not, PP issued an apology for omitting some potential Dem candidates, and vowed to poll a greater number in the next poll of this race.
