A 21-year old woman has died after falling from the 14th floor of a building near the United Nation on Sunday. Police officials have not determined whether the woman jumped or fell by accident.
A doorman from a building across the street told The Daily News that witnesses came running and shouted "'She just jumped! She just jumped!' We crossed the street together and we saw her lying there with branches all over her."
Police say the woman was found dead at the scene in front of 100 United Nations Plaza. Witnesses say the woman was described as having black hair, wearing UGG boots, with her pocketbook lying a few feet away from her body.
Her identity has not been released due to pending family notification.
