Chris Brown Named World's Worst Dressed Man By GQ Magazine (PHOTOS)

The British version of GQ magazine has crowned singer Chris Brown the worst dressed man on the planet. Ouch!

After calling him a "thuggish rapper-slash-singer," the glossy suggests that Brown should be investing his fortune into tailoring not $15,000 phones.

Sure, Brown's casual looks and questionable costumes leave much to be desired in the way of gentlemanly attire--but is he the world's worst dresser?

Flavor Flav, Elton John and Dennis Rodman are just a few names that come to mind when we think of style challenged dudes. And let's not forget Lil Wayne in those leopard print jeggings. But we clearly weren't on the nominating committee.

And let's be honest, Brown is usually shirtless by the end of most of his appearances and videos--so there really isn't much clothing to judge his style on in the first place. But we digress.

GQ did an excellent job of proving their point--the slideshow they pulled together is definitely damning.

But in an effort to redeem Brown from his fashion shame, we tried (perhaps in vain--you be the judge) to find a few pictures of Chris looking dapper and debonair.

Is there such a thing as "worst" dressed man? Probably not. However, Chris Brown is a terrible dresser and deserves this award. He is bad because he is actually trying to be stylish. That is his problem. People like Lil Wayne or Flava Flave are just caricature whom no one takes seriously. If Chris Brown just stuck to clothing that fit him, that would absolve the most offensive part of his poor style.

Worst Dressed Man in the World? I don't think so. There are many guys who dress worst than Brown. I cannot remember any photos of Lil' Wayne wearing a nice suit and looking clean cut. I've seen photos of Brown doing just that.

I lost much respect for Chris Brown after the battery of Rihanna. But since then he has seemed to be moving on and doing ok for himself. I am not a fan of his, but looking at this onjectively, why did GQ seek to grind an axe with him? It seems as though their intent wasnt fashion but to deliberately hurt the artiste. If it is what I think, then shame on GQ.

I read their very limited opinion of this young man. The pictures they selectd date back 6 years. This was a deliberate attempt to hurt Chris Brown and I'm not sure why? He must have refused to grant them an interview. The majority of the photographs they displayed are of him at age 15 and 16. Who targets a young teenage boy and why should be the question?
